We partnered with the ABC Councils’ Parks and Open Spaces team with a series of events celebrating all the joy parks and open spaces bring with a host of family outdoor programmes.

Activities included:

 ‘Tree study’ at Tannaghmore Gardens (13 August).

 Lurgan’s ‘Geology Walking Trail’ (13 August).

‘Young Conservationists’ workshops hosted in both Portadown People’s Park (14 August) and Lurgan Park (15 August)

‘Storytelling & Crafts’ at the Palace Stables Armagh (15 August).

‘Guided Bird & Nature Walk’ at Oxford Isalnd (3 July).

‘Guide in the Hide’ workshop st Kinnego Hide (24 & 31 July). 

All activities were centred around getting everyone out in the great outdoors and celebrate some of our fantastic natural heritage sites!
